Indian men queuing at the entrance of a stairwell with women inside?
 

I was walking along Rowell Rd just west of Kampong Kapor Rd and noticed a long line of Indian men queueing up in front of a narrow stairwell entrance that had a gated see-through door. They were all trying to look over each other trying to get a good look at what's behind the door.

Behind the door sat numerous Indian women sitting on the stairs all dressed up to look pretty.

Every once in a while a guy would go up to the gated door, say something, and one of the women inside would let him in and close to door behind him.

Ummmm... Anyone know what's going on here? Is this a version of a fish bowl? Are the ladies all LBs or something? Cost?

It's 379 pages long and was started in 2009 with no summary post of any kind. Hopefully you can appreciate how difficult it is to find information in such a format especially when you don't know what keywords to search for as a newbie to the area.

So I'm going to assume that yes, the stairs have ladyboys.

I've been in there once, and she was a ladyboy.

Not sure about the rest, though I don't think they are.
