yeah vietnam is good.
but problem is visa. You wont get a long stay visa unless you married a viet.
Transportation is a big challenge there too. Unless you can drive a car or bike.
Aim for the countrysides, smaller cities or towns.
City life (HCM, Hanoi) in vietnam sucks big time.... Stressful, congested, noisy, polluted, getting a little expensive too.
