If you're going to go down as far as Daya Bay (BTW - the site of the first nuclear plant in China!!) you should also make it down to Nan O close by - which is famous for its sea urchin and other sea food.
Also close by is the little hamlet DaPeng, which, as tiny as it is, boasts at least 3 KTV's - mostly quite raunchy and good fun!!
