is not a crime to help rent room/unit but if she used the room/unit for illegal criminal activities then as tenant you may be investigated...also you may be charged for illegal subletting...
question is why bother to do so for her when she not related to you...she can always go stay backpacker hostel or hotels...after investigation complete she will be deported...
