It turns out that many hypertension drugs cause ED. The category that are LEAST likely to interfere with sexual function are the ACE Inhibitors and newer ARB drugs.

Beta blockers and diuretics were the worst culprits.

So if you're on hypertensive drugs and you have ED do a bit of research first to see whether they could be the cause of your bedroom/brothel problems before you start popping the blue pill.

A simple switch to a different class of hypertension medication could possibly solve all your ED issues.

What compounds the issue is that many doctors never mention the side effects of the pills they are dishing out. I guess they feel that it would discourage patients from taking the medication which would result in consequences far more serious than the side effects.

However with information about every single drug on earth being widely available at reputable websites doing ones own research is quick and easy. The knowledge gained from a bit of research often brings about a Eureka moment that could significantly improve your quality of life.

If any of you out there have something to contribute on this issue please feel free to add to this thread.
