Reminds me the time when I first started working in a jap company based here, and had the chance to go over to their HQ a few days for biz. The counterpart there in sales could speak passable english and brought me out to strip joint at kabukicho. Turned out later the stripper is malaysian girl. Those days maybe thai girls not so widespread (pun intended) yet. These days, everywhere. Even in china - this really surprised me that they can carry out their trade facing competition from ATB on home ground.
