Danshui FAQs
Danshui is primarily famous for low cost Saunas.
3 Star and above Hotels have better stock. 3 Star and below Hotels can skip as quality is below average. Danshui only has its first Dongguan style Flower Street KTV since 2011 only. KTV is officially opened in Dec 2011. One of the best 4 Star Hotel/KTV in Danshui. Hostess strength 200-300. Hostess Category about the same as Yi Hao KTV (Changping). This town is only suitable for those happy go lucky bros who emphasised more on brotherhood bonding. Those looking for wife or fussy bros will not like Danshui. One thing good about Danshui Town is during the day you can go to the beach at nearby Dayawan Town or do some island hopping or fishing.

Danshui Update (25/10/13)
These few days Changping Saunas operate in stealth mode.
Only do regular's business. Yi Hao Sauna close for 3 days. Even Danshui Saunas are operating in stealth mode.

Huizhounan Railway Station (惠州南站)
Opens 28/12/13.
High speed train (200 KM/H) connecting between Shenzhen and Xiamen. Huizhounan Railway Station (惠州南站) is located in Danshui Town. Huizhounan Railway Station (惠州南站) to Shenzhen North Station (深圳北站) one way ticket is ¥16.50/19.50. 30 minutes. Now it only takes approximately 1 hour in total to travel from Danshui Town (via CRH Train) to Futian Kouan (via Shenzhen Metro) and vice versa. This is good news for me!

Dongguan Crackdown
Changping, Changan and Danshui are on SUPER red alert for these 2 days.
I repeat it's super red alert and not just red alert! Those who want to perform Kamikaze can cheong the Saunas this week! Good luck to all bros. But on a serious note every year the crackdowns are getting more and more serious. This could be the beginning of the end.
