Yes, been there done that. Easy to state and direct for help, but it isn't really that straightforward and that "helpful", else she wouldn't be in current situation. I also hope it will ends "soon".

My 4d ticket tick the wrong box, not ibet but system entry for 3891. Asked my mum to buy, she just simply paid $120 without immediately refunding. Asked her to refund later but sgpools staff rejected. Came out consolation 8391 this wed.

I decided to cancel what I say in this reply. Anyway, this is a very difficult and complicated situation you and the lady is facing. Just try ur best to minimize the debt as best as you can up to $1K. If u can do that, it's a cause for a mini celebration.
