But at this stage, most of my FBs (the good ones are gone), my last SB was more than 6 months ago. I still have some very good FLs that I engaged. And you are right, I found have one SB after another - 6 over the last 8 years or so. The longest last 2 years, shortest a month. Mostly 6 to 12 months. Good enough for me rather than visiting geylang or finding FL- which I don't really like. There are some regular FL that I will find over the years - in the intervening months when I was without SB. It is not as routine as a regular GF which can drive me crazy. GF won't last too long if marriage is not on the cards.

Human relationship is so fragile. What is genuine that will last forever? How many of us can find that? How many of us has got gone through it severely battered - emotionally and financially.

Which part of my living is not real and living in a dream? Each of us has different life experiences. And there is no single right formula for living a real life. Is everyone attached so happy? A large number of cheongsters here are attached. So are you implying that it is alright for those happily attached to find "short term happiness" whereas it is meaningless for the rest of us.

Let's say perhaps in the peak of the youth, there might be cheong moments and after some time tend to look for more in depth companionship rather than skin deep.

Perhaps I am also getting sick of monetary transactions. Dreams to me are no $$, no honey.
U stay blissfully happy for a few hours but short lived and unreal because when ur pockets are empty, it will vanished. There is only 1 reason of why these women want to be with you - money.


Bonus point is she's willing to stick through the craps with u despite knowing that you are not worth a cent.

Not into getting a cranky gf but looking into more of a soul mate, one who is willing to watch movies with u because she geninuely enjoy your accompany, sex with u because there's chemistry and not treated you as just 1 of the carrot heads and just being nice to u because she's eyeing u to buy her the next LV bag.

My mentality might be derived to the fact that I have no dough nor do I feel good to be treated like a Robert .
