There are definitely several clinics or swap centres in the East near the ferry terminal but you need to check their operational schedules to book a test in good time before your departure. Going on May 6, return on May 12. Just insurance, ferry ticket, ART test and going to TMFT by cab alone cost me $200. This one week trip to Batam may cost me $3000+ in total. A bit expensive but doesn't matter, who know how long the borders will remain open. Border closure can happen suddenly if Covid has mutate into another form of virus or another China Virus evolve. Better to enjoy first once got chance, don't wait, too much uncertainty in life.
