Tanglin Shopping Centre would be either Leo (ex Starlight) or Empress (sister company of Supreme) which is newly opened.

I heard that Supreme / Empress got raided recently which is not surprising given the amount of forum traffic of that club in this thread. Leo was "featured" in wanbao recently so it was a matter of time before the authorities are called in.

Dear experts,

It seems like police has been visiting St James Power Station area frequently now (or at least 2 consecutive fri/weekend already). Do you know what's the situation? Specifically:

1. is it safe for patron?
2. what are raids looking for? is it vice / prostitution activities, or simply to check on those models who are here w/o holiday visas

Based on the event happened to the Indian Club (Rupee) Dec last year, it seems like they are checking for prostitution? instead of the visa?

Nothing to worry about...sop for police close to major public holidays and events to step up presence. This after little India riot, hot spot such as selegie Clarke quay boat quay and St James have police presence close to closing time.

Actually is more safer for patron. Less people will tend to make problem during this high peak of police activity.

They more looking for people making problem or selling drugs. For vice they usually target more ktv first. If cannot then go pub / disco.

Basically if member of public feedback that there are a lot of vice activity in the area, high chance for vice raid.
