I just tried this recently, and it worked very well....
If you have ML's WeChat or phone number, then tell her that you will get $50 package and instead of paying $50 tip you will give her $70. I tried it in my last booking and the entire session was amazing... ML put in a lot of efforts in everything and was more happy as she got bigger tip. My overall damage was the same, but the service I received was top notch (full auto roam included).
