No sex drive after heavy exercise

I usually have morning wood and think of sex all day.

But I realized that my sex drive will be low for a few days after heavy exercise like gym or long run. my body will be sore for days too.

Anyone feel like this too?

this is mostly because you are not having a regular exercise and the excess exertion depleted your testosterone

Always listen to your body. Extreme exercise and sex stresses the heart. You won't want your heart to malfunction. As you age, do you tailor down your exercise duration and intensity? Or do you tell yourself you have to maintain the standards you achieve when you were 23?

I have friends dying from heart failure. Badminton. No point being a hero who died from exercise. All those who attended the funeral thought it's a stupid way to die.

Not so strenuous for me, just HIIT type and weights.. but I taper.

Get a trainer who can help you with recovery after your exercise and slowly your body will start to recover faster and also sex drive should be back to normal. All about balance, between exercise, work, food, stress and avoid smoking.

Too much exercise. Build up the intensity slowly over a period of time, especially after some period of no exercise, you will have to build up intensity from start again. Best to maintain regular and slowly build up intensity.
