Thanks for highlighting deposit policies. Sharing my 2c worth since I think it's an important topic.

We all, dommes and subs alike, benefit from clear and fair policies when it comes to deposits. The core tension is its high effectiveness as a filter mechanism for dommes to eliminate time-wasters, non-compliant or even dangerous subs vs. honest subs suffering the risk of fraud or non-performance by the provider. Both are pretty strong reasons for and against.

Both the payment and responsible handling of deposits engenders trust in the system and enables all of us to have maximum fun. When subs pay, they build trust with the domme. When dommes handle the deposits responsibly, they build trust with their subs. At some point you gotta leap off the edge and hope you don't get screwed. All it takes is one negative experience to contaminate perceptions of other providers (especially new ones).

I think most dommes would agree that if the domme can't make a session and we are unable to find a mutually acceptable time to reschedule, then it's eminently fair for the deposit to be refunded. It's so uncontroversial to the point where it really shouldn't need to be stated - it's just common decency. But every so often when you take obvious things for granted, it blows up in your face so there is great merit in emphasising clarity upfront!

If the deposit isn't refunded in those situations, then the provider is either unwilling or unable to refund.

If unwilling - nothing more to say, there's neither a rational excuse nor a right to still be in business.

If unable, then they should to the best of their ability plan their financial affairs such that this never becomes an issue. Being a pro domme is essentially like running a small business.

Many businesses use deposits to fund their working capital or "roll cash". However, a deposit is ultimately a liability from the provider to the client (backed by a cash asset). Why? You either have to deliver the service under the terms agreed or you owe your clients money. All else equal, the more deposits you take, the heavier your backlog of subs, the more you need to dip into deposits to fund your other expenses, the less you can rely on alternative income sources to plug the gap - then the more precarious your situation becomes if for whatever reason (legitimate or otherwise) you can't fulfil your service obligations or refund the cash.

In short, until you deliver the service, the deposit money is not actually yours, just held on trust.

For my own purposes, I don't put money with a new domme unless I've got good reason to believe they've developed a reputation for fair dealing or I get a reference from an existing domme or sub that they are committed. Verification protocols tend to be one way - but there's no reason they should be.

i think considering she is known internationally than the other local dommes and quite versatile, (eg why roxy charge 250 which is affordable to most? cause she dont do anything else other than impact mainly) her website say she first aid, aed train etc for safety or does healing work esp those with personal problems, it kinda justify why she charge abit higher. she state she dont aim to meet everyone so if you cant afford then either save up or dont meet her aka just find someone you can afford. those who are not into power exchange wont be suitable for her. she dont book lupsup hotel so you see where your money goes to
