beware of larkin scam thru wechat

Hi all

This happened to me on 21 Jun 2015. The worst day as this happened to me.

On 20 Jun received a wechat message from a girl from taiwan now doing part time fl near larkin. Made appointment to meet the next day and droved to larkin (near jalan kolam 7-11). Wechat her and she asked me to buy mol online (coupon for online game) from 7-11. This is because she is ttying not to get cash if busted by police. Agreed and bought as told (RM300).

After snap picture for her to verification. Later received call from private number... the person on the other line asked for RM800 as personal guarantor to proof myself not a police. Wanted to cancel the appointment but being threaten by the guy on the private number. The guy said after the deal... they will return me cash of RM800. So... give in... bought the MOL again.

Thereafter... another call from another guy... request for another guarantee of RM1,000 as guarantee not to perform abnormal sex with the girl. The this round i drove off from scene. The guy call and the girl wechat and threaten to visit my house as they have my handphone number. Well... just ignore and till today... no action.

For all samster... watch your back when you are near larkin. If you get such wechat... better walk away... cheers.

That's scary, do you have any screenshots of the so called person, maybe you can try sharing that so that it has better exposure and readers can immediately identify the person.

this activities has been going on for long in Singapore. Same method.
Let it be a bad lesson to learn. In future, do not transfer any $$$ , whatever the reason is.

Well, her or rather (his) way sure is the same as TS in terms of conning. First will tell you that she's from Taiwan, came all the way here to study, but staying alone at Larkin? Seriously, is there a college or university there that suits her?

Then (she) claims that (she) is strapped of cash, and from time to time (she) will be working as an escort, for just 300 ringgit, 2 hours, unlimited shots. Too good to be true right?

So as for venue, will have to meet up at this 7-11 convenience store, why not just meet up at her place if (she's) staying alone?

Then (she) will instruct us to get MOL instead of cash, giving the same reason saying that afraid of cops, told (her) that cops don't give a shit, as they tend to patronize quite often, went silent after that.

Kept coaxing (her) to deal in cash, but was still reluctant. Claiming don't understand.
