The very first time I saw my son bring home his GF - I was very worried. He was 18yr than. First thing comes to my mind is bee's and honey! Caused I'm worried of any unwanted pregnancy. I'm not ready to be a grandfather!!!

Its not an easy topic to broach with your kid, especially a girl. When you have your own, the best method will come to you, depending on your relationship, style of parenting and, possibly, the child's temperament (some kids are stubborn and think they know best, some are willing to listen, some just pay you ear service). Some parents discuss matters with their children openly and listen at the same time, others dispense instructions/orders on a one-way traffic basis and then there's probably a mix. As with all matters dealing with children, it is first important to gain their trust and assure them they have your ears. Do it from young before they are even curious about the birds and the bees and it will be easier to bring up the topic in future.
