Comercialisation of Geylang. ( just a fancy idea with scenario story)

Year 2014, Government under new leaders ordered massive crackdown of HC and TN joints. Many members of SBF not happy with all those developments. They petitioned the MPs and Cabinet to rethink. One samster , a millionaire , named Anthony , thought of the situation and felt that Gelyang can be made into hub, casino style with creation of new jobs , with a creation of new statuory board which regulated commercial sex industry. He felt that Singapore need to make billions of dollars with taxes, and GST , admin charges,etc.

He called his friend who is a MP for Geylang GRC and invited him to posh dinner for talks. He convinced his friend Gelyang brothels be revamped and developed into ones with better facilities which was found in cat-1 spas, with cafes, and cocktails, and beers,and better variety of food.

This MP was reminded to look at Macau and various parts of China, and Japan. He think he can convinced other Member of Parliaments at Parliament because he was good reasoner and can convince people to support his ideas.

Few days later, at Parliament , he mooted the ideas of commercialisation of Geylang, and the need to upgrade Geylang brothels with a lot of facilities which was found in spas. He encouraged Parliament to look at various Asian cities. Some were against the ideas. Some were in deep thinking, Others just look at creation of jobs, like waiters, sauna ushers, etc, in addition of getting gals from Korea, Japan, China , and taxed them heavily , and regulation which made bring $$$$ to economy. Look at casinoes, which bring a lot of $$$ to economy, creation of jobs, etc. They felt that if they can control casinos , they can surely control sex businesses with stricter rules, and constant surveliance thru new statuory board. Party in power hoped to make everyone happy just that people will vote for them in GE 2016

Home Affairs Ministry then sent officials to Macau, and officials paid visit to saunas , uniform massage clubs to see how the industry was being regulated, and they also visited a province which was known as sex province with a lot of massage centres, and saunas. After few months, they decided to model Gelyang on mixtures of Macau, Chinese cities, and Tokyo, and invited reputable saunas ( which treated gals humanely,etc) to set up biz under strict regulations , and making plan to secure the supply of ladies from Macau, China, and Tokyo.

Next scenario , in 2015...

(I understand that those are farfetched, just wrote ideas on how GL can be like HC paradise with GL brothels being upgraded to sauna centre, HCs, with a lot of facilities ,like pools, gals parades (where gals dressed sexily, parading like catwalking to patrons who were dining and select the gals. It is just a fanciful ideas with fantasy scenarios on how Gelyang can be improved. Many pple felt that it is not right for authorities to impose crackdown on private sector (HCs, TNs,...) , if you want to satisfy your needs and more, go to public sector (GL legal houses) but GL legal houses dont satisfied much of cheogsters who nowadays want more but unwilling to go overseas (Macau, Tokyo) to experience trained ladies. For example, gals wearing OL, must know how to roleplay as secetary , or dommineering boss before sex. Not simple , wear costumes, greet clients and off to room, undress and fuck, then go off.

Unrelated case of mediacorp catch up TV ( Public sector) and one Facebook group who set up their own catch up TV using Youtube (private sector).

Do you know what is the problem of Mediacorps online TV where you can watch channel 8 drama?
There is a few problems: Mediacorps online TV sometimes hung and you need to restart and more importantly, you cannot watch Mediacorps online TV programmes when you are overseas because Mircosoft sliverlight detected your attempt to watch show when you are in another country. Mediacorps programmers programming code to deny access to ch8 dramas . is it fair to some of you when you are in overseas stint and try to watch channel 8 dramas from xin msn . com?

Thats why a group of pple came in, creating FB group , and downloaded local dramas for everyone ( local, foreigners) to watch. Youtube dont hung often, and you can replay the scene several times to hear and watch expressions of artistes in their roles.

These create overseas demand for such shows ,because many foreigners in HKG, malaysia want to buy the movies.

Public and private sector complement each other in providing goods and services.

Reverting back to topics:

New generation cheongsters are exposed to videos of overseas saunas , health centres , and want more than just fucking and go off. It is so troublesome to take bus ,and walk to GL , then go to clean spa in Orchard , namely G-spa. or simply they want to fuck and relax,soak in large pools, dine-in at cafe which provide wide variety of meals, beers.

Rich businessman can travel to other country to enjoy sauna at Dongguan and fucked massage gals who is good at roleplay, fucking, and massaging, Some got privileges to get massage in pool by naked gals.

In 2015,
PM and his cabinets dicussed GL situation and committee was set up to get feedbacks on setting up of 'cheongsters paradises' similar to Macau, or Dongguan.

Committee dwell on several factors.

Strengths- it can boost revenues , many locals who often go to overseas , can chose to come to Gelyang to enjoy facilities , and it create income for home country. Male tourists can also spend time there. More money rolled in.

Weakness-
is it easy to regulate such things? (if casino can be regulated, with set up of Casino Regulatory Authority, why not set up agency to regulate GL sector?)

is local open to such things? (since many people want it, it is okay.)

Opportunity-

it create new jobs for peoples, like cleaners, ushers, wait staffs, and therapists ( local ,if gals want to do, and foreigners.) and indirect, it give ICA, MOH , enforcement agencies,etc work to do and new things to work on.
many enrichment courses like massaging ,roleplaying, BDSM training, etc. will be available.


Threats:
the possibilites of divorces , and crimes?
will it lead to more STDs?
Willl people get addicted to sexual roleplay?



Tenders are put up inviting entrepeurs to come and develop GL with a assistance of advisors from Macau representatives.

Not necessary can be located in GL, maybe somewhere in Kranji, Changi or Tuas in different locations of Sg? Maybe the land only have a lease of 30 years? Geylang land is FH, too expensive......

Best we can have a change in Masterplan where the land is zoned for Red Light District

( there will be 2 Saunas at Tuas ,and one at northern part of Sentosa, in addition to GL, the smallest Saunas which look like row of terrace houses with gates. )

Anthony emailed and called his buddies over and asked them what they hope to see in a development of sauna spas. Many offer suggestions to Anthony who in turn forwarded some good suggestions to Gelyang GRC MP.

Few months later, government ordered the closure of few terrace houses, including some brothels. residents were given a cash and HDB flat as compensations. Development began. threads on Sauna Spas were fully discussed in forums ,SBF, $$$$$$$$$$$$,etc.

General Elections came, same political party won with 56.1% valid votes, with bricks thrown at them.

Regulatory authority was set up with entertainment license unit , anti vice branch, etc. CEO of regulatory authority begin his task of networking with overseas states with experience in dealing with problems that is associated with saunas, health spas..

First batch of gals , from China ,and Malaysia arrived and get health checked , and orientation programme about Singapore and some training provided by DSC about sexual health.

They were put up at terrace houses near where first Sauna Spa is being developed. They receive vigorous training in catwalking, dining ettiques, and bathing men bodies, and putting condom, BBBJ/ BJ, FJ, AR..
