Just read the Phuket gazette.
New curfew hours from midnight till 4am. I bet the clubs in town will close the doors and party till 4am then go home. It's not uncommon for them to party till six in the morning at the beer gardens like James garden in phon pon.

Just some info on true SIM cards for visitors. I got one for my local hp at the shop in town and topped it up with100 baht. To my surprise the calls are a baht a min and if you check the msges you send to local nos, the msg are sent via + 66 and not the Thai local number. I reckon that's going via international call. My card ran out in 1 day. Usually I use Ais esp for wifii. The packages are worth your $.

Found a call service in town. Real syt and rather expensive. Mostly from bkk, cnx and some issan girls. You line the guy and he send the pics of available girls.choose and will send to your hotel. Had a couple of real nice syt.
Other than that really didn't do much mongering.

Im in Patong for a week until 14 June, Im using TRUE sim card get it FOC from phuket airport with 20MB free WIFT and 10B local call... I topped up 300B fm minimart at Airport to activate 7days unlimited data usage which i find excellent worth for money...

The nightlife in Patong is normal as usual, not much tourist, most of it is farang... disco are almost empty, A gogo with bikini on as alot of police patrolling along blanga rd...

ONLY one or 2 girl take off bra and dance for A quite one and bikini on back... Can see a lot of students in A gogo, less ppl and easy hook on a syt... Im with a girl friend of mine, hence no action for me this trip... WHAT A WASTE!!!

Yes I have had a few from this service. Had a couple of real syt. They are min 4000bht for short time. Pls note that most of the girl dun like overnight services. Funny thing one night after st with one bumped into her at kotomor!
Remember these are not the type you see hanging around in patong fishing for johns. They may be shampoo girls, students some may be pro but most are part timers.

I believe True wifii is in limited areas and not available outside the allocated zones. I may be wrong, but is think Ais is nation wide. Ais is 450 baht for unlimited data for 1 month. I use at my home sig is excellent .

The effect is possibly shortage of electric supply to 14 southern provinces. The shortage will appear in area mentioned randomly in duration of 13 June – 20 July 2014.
