Thumbs up NTUC Enterprise to buy over Kopitiam in deal expected by year’s end

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

SINGAPORE — NTUC Enterprise is set to buy over home-grown food centre operator Kopitiam by the end of the year for an undisclosed sum, the two entities announced on Friday (Sept 21).

The sale to NTUC Enterprise, subject to regulatory approval and other conditions, will bring Kopitiam’s 80 establishments including food courts and hawker centres, under its fold.

Another cock idea where ownself make money from own people. NTUC has to be more proactive, daring and innovative than this. It has to really think how to generate revenue and grow the pie. Same as the Temasek with Grab. After acquisition, no real value-added, in fact fares on the increase which is a case of ownself make money out of own citizens isn't it ? Minister not worth $ 1 million.
