I though herpes is skin to skin transmission,. Even have sex when there is no outbreak, chances is still there is spread..

Note: I know when involved in such sexual activities, std or HIV is prompt

i thought the reply was clear enough for you to understand.

basically, you should not engage in any sexual activities when there is a breakout, the chances of the other person getting the virus is much much higher than when there is no outbreak..

I got a small blister at my upper lips and it lasted or the past 4 days, I used salt to rub it and it broken and applied bonjela gel, now it dried up and starts healing.. my last time encounter with fl was one year back and I never do painting and kissed any fl before?

May I know whether I kena hsv1 in this case? If this is herpes, will it start to spread all over my lips as for now rather than just a small blister this time? Thanks

For the time being, try not to go around kissing babies or
children or anyone.

If you touched the blisters, lesions or sores, remember to
wash your hands with soap and not just plain water before
touching other areas of yours or someone's body.

The doctors are the one who can provide a better explanation
and treatment.

I have got infected with herpes 2 for years...married and with kids...
Beginning was a pain with numerous outbreaks in one year. After a
few years, the outbreaks lessened and I am symptoms free for like 2-
3 years as we speak.

If you see blisters, lesions, sores forming, you should see a doctor and get a blood test to confirm. The doctors are the one who can provide a better
explanation and treatment.
