I apologize for quoting your whole post,which i need to becos what you just said above were all correct from my view and i agreed to every part of it.

Stay near or close by to most cheonging places. Eg, if someone new is targeting at massage places,and if he/she is staying around BCS,Sekupang or even Batam center area...well,they are likely to be disappointed.

Move around by foot to familiarize with the surrounding (for beginners). I dont like being held mercy by taxi drivers.

Bargain down, irregardless how low one think the price might be (i was surprise during 2018 that 100k hj and 200k fj still available,hehehe...). This is an Indonesia business culture. Most time,they would often quote a higher price for customers to bargain down.

As for wechat girls,i am not sure. I am no expert on this one but i guess they are for the intermediate Batam cheongster. And my guide/s were meant for the beginners,to help Batam beginner/s get a kick start.

Safety has been my priority in Batam.

Yes, plenty to be found using WeChat. But, presumably you will need a place for your action? There are also many cheap hotel around but probably of poorer quality.
Probably, getting a girl and hotel would be cumbersome but not impossible.

Since you are in Batam for few hours, family members around, don't have hotel and time to waste, your best bet is one and only: go to the massage joints mentioned here multiple times and ask for ST. Not the massage places where at best they show you a book with photos, or you go to room for massage and hope in a special. I mean the "massage joints" where you see the line up for booking girls.

They provide the room and for 50%-60% of the booking price you get the same girl for one shot. You see a l ine up and you can also chat briefly to check attitude and "chemistry". Easy and painless.
