Can I Go To Vietnam To Get Married Legally?

There has been rumors that vietnam is banning foreignors from marrying vietnamese woman in vietnam and I don't know if that's true. I'm planning to marry a vietnamese girl who I've met in hcmc and talked to and I'm wondering if I would run into problems if I get married legally ?? I live in Spore and 40 years old.
