I didn't know that going out with customers is strictly prohibited, as so many WLs do it.

Anyway, WLs are people too and they also need to unwind on their off days. I don't see any problems with bringing them out to sight-see and eat local food, as long as you know your limits and not get sucked into a KC trap. Some of them are genuinely nice people. If you treat them well, some of them will keep in touch with you even years after leaving SG. A few even offered to bring me sightseeing in China, although i didn't take up their offers.
